Price: Tickets are $ 25.00 per person  Chaperones MUST purchase a ticket in advance.  NO REFUNDS will be issued.

Dress Code:

  • Tennis shoes ONLY for students and chaperones.  No dress shoes, boots, heels, Crocs, etc.

  • Semi-formal attire; no jeans, t-shirts, shorts, athletic wear, etc.  

  • Dresses/skirts must be at least fingertip length, no bare midriffs, no cut outs, no plunging necklines, and no strapless dresses. Shorts/spandex are strongly suggested for wear under dresses.  


Chaperone Policy:

  • Minimum of one chaperone per five students. Chaperones MUST purchase a ticket in advance. If a problem arises during the dance, the chaperone will be responsible for taking the child home or contacting the parent and staying with the child until the parent can arrive for pick-up.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • No suspensions (starting from Q4, March 21, 2023)

  • No more than 2 discipline referrals (with parent contact). This can include being sent to the office, written up in Branching Minds, serving in-school or after-school detention, being referred to the Flex Room for in-class inappropriate behavior, etc.

  • Passing ALL Quarter 4 classes with 60 and above


Dance Rules:

  • No running, chasing, horseplay, carrying other students, etc.  

  • Once admitted to the dance, students MUST remain inside the building at all times until dismissal.

  • Parents must come to the door and alert a staff member to pick up their child early if the child is not leaving with their designated chaperone.

  • No food or drink is allowed in the gym; all food and drink must be consumed in the lobby area.  No gum is allowed at all.

  • Any misuse of a cell phone will result in immediate dismissal from the dance.

  • Dance moves must be appropriate (no front-to-back dancing, no inappropriate gestures, hands must remain on the waist or shoulders at all times, etc.) and appropriate distance (no tight embracing while dancing) must be maintained when dancing with others.
