Biography
Part of the TJCA community since 2007, Heidi currently serves as the 6th-grade ELA teacher.
Her accomplishments include:
- Being the Charter School Teacher of the Year Runner-up in 2013
She earned a:
- Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and K-6 Teacher Licensure from the University of North Carolina at Asheville
- Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University

National Board Certification (Middle Childhood Generalist) in 2007 and 2017
Outside of work, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved pets.
