Biography
Part of the TJCA community since 2023, Amanda currently serves as the 7th-grade Science teacher.
She earned a:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Financial Economics from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. (Graduated Magna Cum Laude)
A native of Rutherford County, Amanda Byers has been an active substitute teacher at TJCA since 2016. She has served at all three campuses. Amanda is committed to the success of TJCA and is the mother of two TJCA students. She is passionate about the natural world and spends most of her free time hiking or traveling in national parks. She is also an avid volunteer and is the Marketing/Education chair for Keep Rutherford County Beautiful, an organization that promotes education and advocacy for a cleaner, more eco-friendly world.
