Biography
Part of the TJCA community since 2007, Heidi currently serves as the 6th-grade ELA teacher.
Her accomplishments include:
- Being the Charter School Teacher of the Year Runner-up in 2013
She earned a:
- Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and K-6 Teacher Licensure from the University of North Carolina at Asheville
- Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University
Outside of work, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family and her pets. She enjoys working outside and extreme couponing.
